Urinary incontinence is a complication that can appear after the treatment of radical prostatectomy. In cases of stress urinary incontinence where there is no cure after pelvic floor rehabilitation, surgery may be indicated.

Artificial urinary sphincter is currently the gold standard. However, there are other devices that provide good outcomes in appropriately selected patients.

Therefore, a diagnosis work-up is mandatory in order to assess the type of incontinence and select the best treatment for the patient.
